The production process of paraffin wax by Baihui Company

1.Crude oil distillation: The main raw material for paraffin is crude oil, which is separated into different fractions through distillation process. The fraction containing higher paraffin content is selected as the raw material for paraffin production. ‌

2. Solvent refining: The raw paraffin oil undergoes a solvent refining process, which utilizes the different solubility of the solvent for paraffin and other impurities to remove impurities through solvent extraction and improve the purity of paraffin. ‌   

3.  Decolorization treatment: The commonly used method is activated clay adsorption, which removes impurities and pigments from paraffin wax, making it appear clean white or light yellow.

4. Cracking and Separation: Paraffin oil is heated to a certain temperature and subjected to thermal cracking by a cracking device, decomposing longer molecular chain paraffin into shorter molecular chain paraffin.

5. Fractionation: Thoroughly separate liquid hydrocarbons and paraffin through a distillation device to obtain pure paraffin.

6. Refining treatment: including two steps of crystal separation and solvent dewaxing. Crystal separation is the process of cooling and crystallizing wax oil at low temperatures, and then separating the crystallized paraffin wax through a centrifuge or filtration device; Solvent dewaxing is the process of mixing wax oil with an appropriate amount of solvent, using measures such as dilution and cooling to crystallize paraffin, and then separating the paraffin through centrifugation or filtration.

7. Molding and packaging: Based on different applications and melting point requirements, paraffin wax is processed into products of different shapes and sizes, and sealed and packaged to ensure product quality and safety.
